For five years we ran a smoke shop on Main Street. It did fine, right up until New York decided what we could and couldn't put on the shelves — and then decided again, and again.
So we're building the shop we actually wanted in the first place. Amnesia Oddities is a curiosity shop: strange objects, weird toys, blades, oddities, vintage and second-hand finds. The smoke-shop counter is still here — it's just not the point anymore.
The point is that you walk in and see something you have never seen in a store before. Then you come back in two weeks and it's gone, and there's something stranger in its place.
Nobody within fifty miles of here has a shop like this. That's the idea.
Stock rotates constantly — some of these are deep shelves, some are one-of-one finds that'll be gone by the weekend.
The strange stuff. Specimens, bones, jars, anatomical odds and ends, fossils and things that make people say "what is that."
Not the toy aisle. Bizarre figures, obscure imports, cursed-looking plush, retro finds and the kind of thing you buy because it made you laugh out loud.
Knives, fantasy blades, display pieces and the occasional thing that belongs on a wall. All legal, all age-verified, no exceptions.
Estate finds, forgotten objects, strange old machines and things with a history nobody wrote down. Always changing — this is the shelf worth checking every visit.
Still here. Glass, papers, wraps, cones, grinders, torches, lighters and accessories — everything you came in for before.
New strange things land here constantly and the floor changes with them. Follow along, or just stop in and find out.
We don't buy collections — but if you've got odd, old and interesting things you just want gone, we take donations: estate finds, oddities, vintage curios, strange machines, weird toys, blades. If you inherited a box of something bizarre and don't know what to do with it, that's exactly our department.
Bring it by or send a photo first if you're not sure. No appointment needed — if it's weird enough for the floor, it gets a shelf and a second life instead of a landfill.
Behind the shop is a production line — two industrial 3D printers and a CO2 laser — where we design and build our own pieces for shows, online orders and the shelves out front. Everything is designed here, printed and cut here, and finished by hand.
Our flagship build: a lit display and carry chest for 16 graded cards — every card visible behind UV-filtering panels, lit from underneath, with clear ends so the first and last card face out.
First run is thirty numbered chests, from $149, in seven colorways.
Everything we design is original — we don't reproduce licensed characters, team marks or somebody else's artwork. Bring us the idea and we'll build you something nobody else owns.
